I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The attached document was provided by Glock as documentation and evidence of them replacing the original firearm in question. Nevertheless, had we been made aware at any point in time of the issues with this firearm we would have been more than willing to assist in the warranty process or would have replaced the firearm with an additional unit. Whatever may have happened to this pistol to cause this damage is something that occurred while it was outside of our possession. Glock was able to resolve all these issues by replacing the firearm with an upgraded model that was shipped out to his local FFL dealer. They stated that the only way that this can occur is when the slide is dropped on a hard surface while it is removed from the pistol. Glock was also able to also confirm that this firearm was replaced under their warranty for a bent and cracked nose ring. Many distributors order Glock firearms in very large volumes and it is possible for them to have firearms in their warehouse for years before all units are sold to retailers. As you can see from the receipt this was sold in New condition.īecause Glock OEM parts had been replaced, the warranty was voided. They verified that the internal parts also had significant wear indicating the firearm was not new. They verified that the pistol would have been a liability had it been shot as it would not have been safe. I sent the pistol into Glock under a warranty investigation. the barrel nose was crooked and had minor cracks Aftermarket cheap parts had been used to replace Glock OEM parts. It was not new, it clearly had been used I took it out and inspected it more thoroughly to realize that it had a few issues: I have not used the firearm and it sat in my safe until last week.
